Objectives of the Initiative
  1. To develop capabilities and technologies to help local companies who wish to venture into Aerospace industry and strengthen the SME support to the Aerospace MNCs.
  2. To support the localization of Aerospace manufacturing to Singapore.

Activities
  1. Process automation and surface finishing technology development in consortium form.
  2. Skill upgrading in machining and surface finishing of difficult to form materials for aerospace application and use in manufacturing, such as Inconel, Titanium alloys and Cronite castings.
  3. Buyer supplier matching.

  2. Visiting international expert to support the start-up and train staff initially
  3. Robotic automation
  4. Machining capabilities
  5. Cutter design and grinding capability
  6. Material characterization
  7. CT-X-ray for internal structure measurement
  8. Residual stress measurement.
